New Role

New Role

M James Pearn (SHB, 79-86)

Cardiff-based Loosemores Solicitors has appointed a new partner and head of property.

James Pearn has taken up the newly-created role, becoming the third senior lawyer to be appointed by the firm this year, following the arrivals of Sara Griffiths and Siôn Tudur.

He is also the fourth new partner at the firm since Mark Loosemore joined as senior partner in April 2016.

Pearn has more than 20 years' experience as a solicitor with expertise in both residential and commercial property. He also has experience in wills and probate matters and is an affiliate member of STEP, the global professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning.

Mark Loosemore said: "When recruiting, we look for specialists who will not only bring key skills and expertise to the firm, but who will also fit in well with our culture and our strategy. James has an excellent reputation and is committed to delivering the first-class service that our clients expect.

"I am confident that James will prove to be a fantastic senior addition to our team and my colleagues and I look forward to working with him on the development of our residential and commercial property practice."
